Under the boardwalk...

I love that song, Under the Boardwalk and I prefer the Bette Midler version since Beaches is one of my all time favorite movies, but I digress back to the beach house build. Since my previous post was about the house exterior inspiration I wanted to share a little detail I'm really excited about. Instead of using a traditional cement sidewalk we opted for a boardwalk from our front door over the sand and dune grass leading to the street. Seems like a small thing and I guess it is but it speaks to the style of "effortless beach chic classic" that I'm going for.
